Woman arrested for bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:45 a.m., police were advised the woman, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, could be found at an address on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.

Police arrived and located the woman.

She was arrested and transported to police headquarters.

The 29-year-old Chatham woman was charged with failing to comply with a probation order.

The woman was released with conditions and a future court date of February 13, 2023.

Woman arrested for bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:25 a.m., police responded to a domestic disturbance on St. Clair Street in Chatham.

Upon arrival, police located the woman on the property’s front lawn.

The woman was bound by a release order not to be within a specific distance of that address and was arrested.

The 42-year-old Chatham woman was charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.

She was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.

Woman arrested for failing to attend court

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:31 p.m., police responded to a theft at Walmart on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

Police received information the woman had left the store but were provided with a description.

Police located the woman a short distance away and learned she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The 38-year-old Chatham woman was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
