Police: Warrants executed in Thamesville & Chatham, bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 20, 2023, at around 11:30 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop in Thamesville.

An occupant of the vehicle, a 48-year-old Chatham woman, was found to have a bench warrant for failing to attend court.

The female was arrested and released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On January 20, 2023, while investigating a disturbance in the area of Tweedsmuir Ave., Chatham, police located a 55-year-old Chatham man that was wanted by the CKPS.

The man had several charges before the courts and was held for bail.

The female was found to be on court conditions to abide by a curfew which she was violating.

The female was arrested and held for bail.

During the investigation, police learned the 21-year-old Chatham male was breaching his court conditions.
