The 36th Annual All Ontario Farmers Curling Bonspiel has wrapped up at Wallaceburg’s Sydenham Community Curling Club.
Organizers say it was a huge success with 28 teams from Ontario.
The Jerimiah Rabideau rink from Glencoe took top prize of $3,000, sponsored by Waddick Fuels, with all curlers leaving with substantial prizes.
After a two-year COVID break, the reunion-like atmosphere included curling, food, drinks, entertainment, laughs, and tractor races.
The event had over $20,000 in prizes and a raffle table of $5,000, sponsored by 130 local and national sponsors.
The local curling club volunteers worked hard to make the event successful, and proceeds go towards supporting the club.
The 37th edition of the event will be held from January 19-21, 2024.
