Woman arrested on outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night police located a woman in the area of McNaughton Ave. in Wallaceburg, who was known to be wanted on a warrant.
The 41-year old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and lodged until a bail hearing.
Theft and bail violations
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, just after 6 p.m., police attended Walmart on St. Clair Street in Chatham in response to a call of a theft.
The suspect, a 40-year old Chatham man, was located, arrested and charged with Resist Arrest as well as Theft and Possession Under $5,000.
Through investigation, police learned that the suspect was under conditions not to attend Walmart which entitled him to an additional charge of Breach of Undertaking.
