Kniaziew Optometry welcomes Dr. Raguthevan to their Wallaceburg & Petrolia offices

Kniaziew Optometry in Wallaceburg and Petrolia is proud to announce the arrival of a new doctor, Dr. Vaakiny Raguthevan.

With a background in molecular biology and optometric training, Dr. Raguthevan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice.

Dana Haggith caught up with Dr. Raguthevan for an interview. Listen, below:

After completing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto, Dr. Raguthevan went on to graduate from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2021 with a Doctor of Optometry. During her optometric training, she completed clinical externships at Kniaziew Optometry in Scarborough, ON and at the University of Waterloo Optometry clinics.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Dr. Raguthevan is also known for her commitment to community service.

She has previously provided free eye care during a volunteer mission trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Dr. Raguthevan is excited to join the Kniaziew Optometry team in Wallaceburg and Petrolia and looks forward to working with patients in the area.

She will be available to see patients at the Wallaceburg location on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, baking, playing the piano, and exploring new places in Southwestern Ontario.
