U15 Lakers sport pink jerseys to show support

The Wallaceburg U15 girls squad wore pink this past weekend, to show support for a local family connected to both a teammate and an opponent from the Chatham-Kent Girls Hockey Association.

“Our Lakers sported pink jerseys, socks and stick tape,” Wallaceburg Minor Hockey officials said on social media.

“They may battle on the ice, but these girls showed they’ll support each other off it. Well done Lakers and Crush.”
