Peter Parks

Peter Parks, a resident of Sarnia, Ontario, passed away on February 23, 2023, at Blue water Health Hospital (Palliative Care) with his beloved wife Betty and his granddaughter Tiona (PITA) by his side at the age of 83. Peter was born in Montreal, Quebec and resided in Sarnia Ontario since 1993 with his beloved wife Betty White, Peter was a son of late Aubrey & Hilda Parks. Sadly, missed by his stepdaughter Barb Huff (Robert Huff), his nephew, Jeff Parks, late brother-in-law Ray Terpstra & sister-in-law Pina Terpstra. His step grandchildren, Tiona Pels-Bradley /PITA (Joe Foster), Daniel Bradley, Ian Bradley, the late Mellissa Rawcliffe, Brendon Bradley, and Krista Huff. Great grandchildren, Talia Foster, Ainsleigh Foster, Mason Foster, Damon Rawcliffe, Zachary Rawcliffe. Good friends of Margaret Davies, Chopper, Rick Johnston, predeceased by Fran & Barry, Rose & Dean, Claude & Louise (Denise).

Peter enjoyed doing a variety of things during his free time including, driving uber & taxi as well as caring for the upkeep of fish aquariums, and feeding the fish at local retirement homes throughout Sarnia. He also enjoyed completing puzzles on the computer and traveling with his wife Betty. One of Peters favourite hobbies were to play and watch golf. One of Peters wishes was to complete The Amazing Race Canada with his granddaughter PITA (Tiona) but never did have the opportunity to do so. Peter was well known for his one liner and hilarious smart a** personality. Anyone would talk to him and think he was the most hilarious person with his unique personality. He would light up a room with his silly sense of humour!

A huge thank you to Dr Kim, Dr Lilly, the medicine floor nurses and Dr’s. A very special thank you to the Sarnia Hospice, at Blue Water Health Hospital, for their compassionate care during Peter’s short time there. The family appreciates the love and support they provided to Peter and his family during his final moments. They did everything possible to keep Peter and his loved ones comfortable during his short stay with them. One of Peter’s one liners was “Once you hit rock bottom, there’s only one way and that’s UP!”
