Mrs. Derlene Southgate, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 91.
Derlene was born in Huntsville, Ontario and was a daughter of the late George Duncan.
Beloved wife of the late John Southgate (2002).
Loving mother of Randy and Dan.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Steven, Cari, Michael and David (Melissa) and her great grandchildren Cutter, Avery, Isabelle, Taylor, Hermione, Ania and Felix.
Surviving are her brother-in-law Dave Major and her sister-in-law Marg Duncan.
Predeceased by her sister Audrey and her brothers Mel and Dez.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 11 to 12 noon with the service immediately following visitation at 12 p.m. all from the Chapel of the Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society may be left at the funeral home.
