Mr. Robert Gordon “Gord” Snary, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 80.
Gord was born in Chatham and was a son of the late John and Verla (Greenwood) Snary.
Beloved Companion and best friend of Theresa (MacNally) Snary.
Loving father of Bobbi-Lyn (Mike) Gardiner and James “Jim” (Mary) Snary. Predeceased by two children Sidney John Snary and George Anthony Snary.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cody, Tesa, Jesse, Joey, Jaclyn and the late Christopher.
Kind brother of Stuart (Sylvia) Snary and Grant (Melodie) Snary.
He is also survived by two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a brother Morley (the late Lois) Snary, and infant sister Betty Ann and a sister-in-law Marion.
Gord loved to fish, a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching any sport he could.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 1-4 p.m.
Cremation will follow.
