The Wallaceburg Thunderhawks are set to move to Walpole Island First Nation next season.
The Junior ‘C’ hockey team made the announcement on social media on April 4, 2023.
The team will be called the Walpole Island Wild, team officials say.
They are also holding a contest to help create the new team logo.

Designs can be submitted to WalpoleIslandWild@gmail.com before April 30, 2023.
It was announced last July that the Thunderhawks were sold to Walpole Island First Nation.
