Investigation on-going after the targeted shooting death of a Sarnia resident last year

OPP officials allege: Members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two individuals believed to be connected to the targeted shooting death of a Sarnia resident in 2022.

Andrew Chute, 45-years-old, was found deceased in the parking lot of the Marthaville Habitat Management Area in Enniskillen Township on April 14, 2022.

This investigation, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), led to the previous arrests of two individuals, who are facing murder charges.

Police are now encouraging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in identifying two additional suspects who remain at large.

Both unknown people left the scene in a grey sedan and drove to the City of London.
