It is with profound sadness that on Saturday, April 15, 2023 we said goodbye to a husband, father, son, brother and friend, Stephen Broad.
Steve passed quietly at home surrounded by family after a hard and lengthy battle with cancer. He left no stone unturned when it came to his treatment, with determination and strong will he put up a good fight wanting to be here for his family until his story ended.
Steve was a loving, devoted husband and best friend to Karen. His children were always and will forever be the light and love of his life. Loving father of Nick (Evan), Abbey (Austin) and Jake (Fionia).
Survived by his parents Harry and Jean Broad of Wallaceburg. He will be greatly missed by his sister Tracey (Pat) Stuart along with his niece and nephew.
Steve was a great handyman; his love for woodworking resulted in having his own workshop in his garage when he spent many hours listening to his rock music and planning his next project.
Steve will always be remembered for his quick wit and his playful teasing, always putting others before himself was always his nature. He will be incredibly missed.
Mr. Steve Broad rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home, 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
As per his wishes, cremation and a private family service will take place.
