Theft investigation leads to breach and weapons charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A man was stopped for a theft investigation on Wallace street in Wallaceburg.

During the investigation, the man was found to have a BB Gun that replicated a real handgun.

The man was currently on conditions and probation.

The man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with probation, fail to comply with undertaking, weapons dangerous and carried concealed weapon. 

The man was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 12:51 p.m. a young man was observed entering a rear shed at an address on Middle Line around Valetta.

The homeowner scared off the subject who fled by a field at the rear of the property. The suspect dropped Go Kart tires outside of the building.

Wellness check leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A citizen called in concerned about a woman in the area of Reaume Street in Wallaceburg.

The woman was located and checked on.

It was discovered the woman had outstanding warrants.

The woman was placed under arrest and transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters, awaiting a bail hearing.
