Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A young male was approached by a vehicle with two young men in it at Lagoon Road in Blenheim.
The interaction worried the young male and the police were contacted.
The suspicious vehicle was located and two men spoken to.
The two men were on conditions not to be around each other and placed under arrest and transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters.
Further investigation found the driver had been consuming alcohol.
The driver was charged with Dangerous driving, operation impaired-80 plus and failing to comply with recognizance.
A future court date of June 5, 2023.
The passenger was charged with failing to comply with a recognizance and released with a future court date of June 12, 2023.
The interaction with the young male is still under investigation.
