Woman arrested for bail violations
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 4:50 p.m., police responded to Park Avenue East in Chatham for vehicle theft.
Police learned the victim gave the woman a ride and briefly left her alone in the vehicle. The woman took advantage of the situation and left the area with the vehicle.
She was found moments later with a male passenger. The woman was suspended from driving and was bound by conditions not to associate with this man. She was arrested, and the vehicle was returned.
The 26-year-old Zone Township woman was charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and driving while suspended.
She was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of July 10, 2023.
The 19-year-old Chatham man was also arrested on an outstanding warrant for a theft and possessing stolen property.

Woman arrested for uttering threats
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 7:21 p.m., police responded to Orchard Heights in Chatham for an assault investigation.
Through investigation, police learned the woman and the victim engaged in a verbal argument, and the woman commented about harming the victim.
The 37-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats.
She was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of July 10, 2023.
