Wallaceburg man charged for breaching bail conditions, had originally been charged with child luring

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:29 p.m., police located the man on Albert Street in Wallaceburg, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The man had initially been charged with child luring.

He was bound by conditions not to associate with anyone under 18 years unless an adult was present and knew the charges, and he must not control any computer or device capable of assessing the internet.

Through investigation and a search incident to arrest, police learned he breached both conditions.

The 46-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged additionally with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
