Mr. Mark Van Troost, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham, at the age of 62.
Mark was born in Sarnia and was a son of the late Joseph (1986) and Martha (2013) (Robitaille) Van Troost.
Beloved husband of Bonnie (Fralick) Van Troost.
Loving father of Jason (Donni) Van Troost and Matthew Van Troost.
Kind brother of Jo-Anne (Bill) Boyd, Ted (Linda) Van Troost, Trish (Scott) Giles and brother-in-law of Luanne Van Troost.
Predeceased by his brother Robert “Bob” Van Troost (2002).
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mark loved to “tinker” with things and was a fan of the Montreal Canadiens and the Denver Broncos.
The late Mark Van Troost rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
A private family celebration will take place at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
