With heavy hearts we announce that Ralph Clinton Jacobs, a member of Walpole Island First Nation has joined his ancestors and the Creator in the spirit world on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at the age of 78.
He will be greatly missed and loved by his wife Marguerite (nee Blackbird) and his children Clinton (Anika) and Inez (Darren). Cherished Mishoo (grandfather) to Corbin, Salem, Liberty and his fur grandbaby M’Kwa.
Son of the late Burton and Dorothy (nee Isaac) and dear brother of Laverne (Lynn), Elaine, Alan (Bernita), Gayleen (the late Frank Saulteaux) and his 2 late infant brothers.
He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ralph was a skilled roofer who worked many years for Miller Brothers and Elric Construction.
He had a big heart and will be remembered for the many times that he helped those in need.
Family and Friends are invited for a wake service at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 6-8pm.
His funeral will take place at the Walpole Island United Church on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2pm with burial at Highbanks cemetery to follow.
