The second annual Healing Walk and Gathering took place in downtown Wallaceburg on Friday, September 29, 2023.
The walk started at the Wallaceburg Library and ended at Civic Square Park.
Over 100 people, including several classes from local schools, walked together and listened to guest speakers and residential school survivors share their experiences and ideas about how people can heal.
The event is a partnership with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and the Bkejwanong Territory Giyakiishchigewin program.
