Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent Police responded to a vehicle that had driven into a hydro pole on Colborne Street Chatham.
A 24 year old man was found behind the wheel.
It was found that the man had been consuming alcohol and was taken to Chatham-Kent Headquarters for further tests.
The man was found to be 1.5 times over the legal limit.
The man was charged with impaired driving wans was released with a future court date of November 23, 2023.
