Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early yesterday morning an officer on general patrol in Chatham conducted a routine traffic stop on an observed vehicle in the area of Wellington Street West.
Through investigation the officer believed the male driving was driving while impaired by alcohol.
The male was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for breath tests.
The 36-year old male of Chatham was charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit and was later released with a future court date of November 27, 2023.
