On Monday, December 4, 2023, E. David Kearney passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 76.
He will forever be loved and cherished by his best friend and wife of 55 years, Barbara (nee VanDamme).
David is the loving father of Maurice, Karen, Travis (Alison), Eric (Becky) and devoted grandfather of Alex, Eddie, Abbi, Jared, Anthony, Katie, Bailee, Hunter and Summer.
Son of the late Edward and Violet Kearney and dear brother of Paul (Deb) Kearney.
David will be fondly remembered as a dear brother-in-law to Millie (Will) DeGoey, Theresa (Mike) Parker, Armand (Helen) VanDamme, Constant (Joanne) VanDamme, Celina (Clarence) Feddes, Cheryl (Dan) Dehens as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
David and Barb were avid campers who travelled most of Canada as well as wintering in Florida.
He also enjoyed woodworking.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 3-7pm.
His Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Holy Family Church on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11am with cremation to follow.
