SheLeads group launches 2024 Mini Session Series

SheLeads, an empowering space committed to uplifting and advancing all women in Chatham-Kent, has announced the launch of it 2024 Mini Session Series.

This innovative series is crafted to inspire, educate, and empower women-identifying folks with the skills, knowledge, and confidence necessary to flourish, organizers say.

The SheLeads mini sessions are a direct result of the overwhelming success of the first annual full-day SheLeads event that took place in July 2023 at the Capitol Theatre in Chatham.

The positive response and enthusiasm from the community have fueled the expansion into monthly mini sessions, providing ongoing support and empowerment for women-identifying individuals in Chatham-Kent.

Key features of the SheLeads 2024 Mini Session Series include focused topics, local expert speakers, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities.

Organizers say Chatham-Kent Councillor Alysson Storey will kick off the 2024 Mini Session Series on Thursday, January 11.

Councillor Storey is set share her insights and experiences.

“We are elated to be launching our 2024 SheLeads mini session series with our friend and role model, Councillor Storey,” said SheLeads co-founder Randi Bokor Caron, in a press release.

“Alysson is an advocate for all women in Chatham-Kent, and we know her session will be enlightening. We can’t wait to pick her brain about being a woman in municipal politics.”

The SheLeads 2024 Mini Session Series is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Mainstreet Credit Union.
