Mr. Paul Whitmarsh, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham, at the age of 80.
Paul was born in Dresden and was a son of the late Grant and Phyllis (Cyster) Whitmarsh.
Beloved husband of Virginia (Christiaens) Whitmarsh.
Loving father of Allan (Jessa) Whitmarsh and Scott (Jill) Whitmarsh.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ashley (Arren), Brandi (Phil), Aiden and Kathleen and his great grandchildren Berlin, Finley and Sophia.
Kind brother of Darlene Fox, Frank (Deb) Whitmarsh, Linda St. Gelais, Margaret Jean Fox and Joe Whitmarsh and brother-in-law of Roger (Dorothy) Christiaens and Denise Christiaens.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers John, Eric and Dennis and his brother-in-law Marcel Christiaens.
He was a long time member of the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg, He loved Bowling and Gardening. To everyone that knew him he was always on time and had a very regimented schedule and a nickname of “Father”. He enjoyed bike riding and was always staying active.
The late Paul Whitmarsh rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
A celebration of Life will take place this Saturday, January 13, 2024 at the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg from 1-5pm.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Loyal Order of the Moose 1156 may be left at the funeral home.
