Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 23, 2023, the man was arrested and released with a future court date.
When he failed to make a court appearance, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
On January 18, 2024, the man was located and arrested on Wellington Street West in Chatham.
The 32-year-old Chatham man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
He is facing the following charges:
– Failing to comply with a probation order.
– Failing to attend court.
– Two counts of theft and
– Two counts of possession of stolen property.
