Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 20, 2024, at 3:30 p.m., police responded to a residence on McGregor Line to investigate suspicious activity.
Specifically, a man was found hiding on the property and fled after being confronted by the homeowner.
Through investigation, officers identified the man and also connected him to a theft from August 17, 2023.
On February 23, 2024, the man was located on Reaume Avenue in Wallaceburg.
The 23-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.
He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of March 18, 2024.
