Multiple arrests for failing to attend court in Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:32 a.m., the man attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and turned himself into the police.

The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a May 2023 theft investigation.

The 56-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released with conditions and a future court date of April 15, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: three counts of theft and two counts of possession of stolen property.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 7:23 p.m., police located the woman on Wellington Street in Chatham.

The woman was arrested and charged in a March 2023 assault investigation where she was required to attend court. When the woman failed to make the court appearance a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The 38-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing. She is currently facing the following charges: assault and failing to attend court.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:08 p.m., police responded to Grand Avenue West in Chatham for a theft investigation.

Officers arrived and located the woman. Officers confirmed the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to bail violations.

The 43-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing. She currently faces the following charges: failing to comply with a release order, two counts of failing to attend court and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
