Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:04 p.m., as a result of a traffic stop on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg, police located the man and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant in relation to a February 2024 theft investigation.
The 45-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and charged with theft and possession of stolen property.
He was released with a future court date of May 6, 2024.
