Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 19, 2024, police began investigation into a physical altercation between students at Chatham-Kent Secondary School.
Through investigation, officers learned a female youth assaulted another female youth resulting in physical injury.
On April 8, 2024, at 11:55 a.m., the 16-year-old Chatham youth attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and turned herself in to the police.
She was charged with assault and released with conditions and a future court date of May 6, 2024.
