Robert Lorne Payne of Port Lambton passed away peacefully at the Wallaceburg Retirement Residence on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the age of 90.
Robert was the son of the late Robert Acland & Helen Mae (McPhail) Payne.
Beloved brother of Shirley Deighton (the late Hugh), Joan, Betty DuChene (Peter) and the late Ariel Hills (Doug) and Marilyn Kettlewell (Roy).
He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Robert had farmed with red and green in Sombra Township for most of his life.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 7-9 PM on Wednesday.
Robert’s life will be celebrated at the funeral home on Thursday, April 18 at 11 AM.
Interment at McDonald Cemetery to be followed by a time of fellowship & refreshment at the Cavanagh Reception Centre.
