Well-being check leads to failing to attend court charges in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 3:48 p.m., the police responded to Sandys Street in Chatham to conduct a well-being check on the woman.

The officer confirmed she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation bail violations.

The 34-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing.

She currently faces the following charges: failing to attend court and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
