Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 6:26 p.m., police located the man on Richmond Street in Chatham.
The officer confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a probation violation investigation.
The 30-year-old Chatham man was transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of May 27, 2024.
He is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with the Sex Offender Registry, two counts of failing to comply with conditions under section 490 of the Sex Offender Registry and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
