Update: Missing man located in good health

Update: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin County (Chatham) Detachment and Moravian First Nation Police Service have located the individual previously reported missing.

On April 25, 2024, at approximately 1:40 a.m., members of the Elgin County OPP and Moravian First Nation Police Service received a report that an individual was missing from an address in Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit (Delaware Nation at Moraviantown).

The individual has been located, in good health.

Police and family members want to thank members of the public for their assistance.

OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Chatham Detachment and Moravian First Nation Police Service are seeking public assistance to locate a missing person to verify his well-being.

On April 25, 2024, at approximately 1:40 a.m., members of the OPP received a report that Larry, 74-years-old, was missing from Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit (Delaware Nation at Moraviantown).

Larry was last seen on April 24, 2024, at approximately 7:30 p.m., in the area of Centre Road near River Line, Eelünaapéewi Lahkéewiit (Delaware Nation at Moraviantown).

Description:

– Indigenous Male

– 5 feet, 6 inches tall, thin build

– Wearing a ballcap or fedora, cowboy boots or mismatched shoes

– Pulling a black foldable wagon

Larry may be travelling to Little John Road or the Bothwell area.

Police and family members are concerned for his safety and are asking anyone who may have any information regarding this missing person investigation to contact the OPP and Moravian First Nation Police Service immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
