Pair arrested in Leamington stemming from CKPS warrants on drug and weapon charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On July 17, 2024, at 3:00 a.m., The Ontario Provincial Police – Leamington contacted the Chatham-Kent Police advising they had the man and the woman in custody, who were wanted on CKPS warrants.

The woman was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to weapon and drug offences in 2021.

The man was wanted for bail violations and weapon offences in 2021.

The 27-year-old Comber man and the 31-year-old Windsor woman were transported to police headquarters where they were held pending a bail hearing.

The man is currently facing the following charges: unauthorized possession of a weapon and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

The woman is currently facing the following charges: failing to comply with an undertaking, failing to attend court, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with the purpose of trafficking.
