Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 5:49 p.m., police responded to King Street East in Chatham for a bail violation investigation.
Officers learned the man had contacted the woman several times via social media and text messages.
The man was prohibited from contacting the woman as per an undertaking dated May 10, 2024, and a probation order dated September 7, 2023.
At 10:11 p.m., the 21-year-old Chatham-Kent man was located and arrested.
He was transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently charged with three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
