Officers located the man and confirmed he was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to probation violations. The 26-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released with a new court date of August 26, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: break-and-enter, possession of stolen property, and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10 p.m., the man attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and turned himself in to the police. The male youth was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to a March 2024 assault investigation in Chatham. The 17-year-old Chatham youth was arrested and released with a new court date of August 26, 2024. He is currently facing the following charges: two counts of assault.
