OPP officials allege: A traffic stop led to one individual being arrested and charged for driving while impaired.
On July 27, 2024, at approximately 10:52 p.m., a member of Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Irish School Road, Dawn-Euphemia.
As a result of the investigation, a 63-year-old Blenheim man was charged with the following:
– Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
– Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on September 4, 2024, in the City of Sarnia to speak to the charges.
