Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On August 25, 2024 a member of the Chatham-Kent Police while on general patrol; located a vehicle belonging to a wanted party.
The 39-year-old Toronto man was wanted in connection to multiple theft incidents in Chatham-Kent.
Additional officers attended the area, and the suspect was arrested.
In the company of this man was a 30-year-old York man who also had outstanding warrants in other jurisdictions.
This man was also arrested.
The vehicle the two men were operating was seized as it appeared to contain a large amount of stolen property.
A search warrant is pending for the vehicle.
Both parties held in custody pending a bail hearing.
