Branch 18 in Wallaceburg is inviting the public to its annual boat run to the Dresden Legion on Sept. 12, with organizers saying everyone is welcome, whether they arrive by water or by road.
Registration runs from 10 to 11 a.m. at Branch 18, with participants then travelling to Dresden either by boat or by car. Once in Dresden, the event will include lunch, a Catch the Ace draw and a 50/50 draw. Participants will then return to Branch 18 for a barbecue, along with a 50/50 draw and a meat draw.
Organizers are encouraging people to bring friends and are asking the community to help spread the word about the event, which supports local Legion branches.
