Indecent act investigation in Tilbury leads to multiple charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On September 5, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., police responded to Canal Street in Tilbury for an indecent act investigation.

Upon arrival officers learned the man was outside the victim’s residence engaged in an act of self-stimulation.

Further investigation revealed a similar incident and unwanted contact has occurred recently.

On September 9, 2024, at 6:16 p.m. the man was located and arrested, following several attempts.

The 40-year-old Tilbury man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.

He has been charged with failing to comply with a probation order, two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of indecent acts.
