Disturbance in Chatham leads to uttering threats charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:41 p.m., police responded to a business on St. Clair Street, near McNaughton Avenue, in Chatham for a disturbance.

Officers learned the man engaged in a verbal argument with employees where he threatened to harm them.

The 28-year-old Chatham-Kent man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of October 21, 2024.

He has been charged with uttering threats.
