Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:33 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg.
Upon initial contact the woman provided the officer with a false name. After confirming her identity, the officer discovered the woman was wanted on outstanding warrants held by Chatham-Kent Police and Windsor Police.
The 46-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and released to Windsor Police with a future court date.
She is currently facing the following charges: theft, possession of stolen property and obstructing the police.
