Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:14 p.m., police responded to a threats investigation on Middle Line in Tilbury North Township.
Police learned the woman received a phone call from a former partner, during which he made comments with intentions to cause her physical harm.
Ontario Provincial Police located and arrested the man at his home in Cottam.
The 24-year-old Cottam man was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing. He has been charged with uttering threats.
