Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 8 p.m. on October 14, 2024, police were on general uniform patrol within the city of Chatham.
Officers located a male party whom they believed had a warrant for his arrest walking down Grand Avenue East in Chatham.
The male party was stopped, and further investigation revealed that the male party was currently wanted on the strength of a warrant.
A 40-year-old Chatham man was arrested on scene, the male party was released on a future court date on scene and sent on his way.
