St. Clair Catholic Board of Trustees will remain unchanged for 2025

The leadership of the St. Clair Catholic Board of Trustees will remain unchanged for 2025.

John Van Heck was acclaimed as Chair of the St. Clair Catholic District School Board at the Initial Board meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

This marks another term for Van Heck, who has held the position since 2016, after first being elected as a Catholic trustee in 2006.

David Argenti was acclaimed as Vice Chair for a third consecutive term, having served as a trustee since 2018.

Both Van Heck and Argenti expressed gratitude to their colleagues for their continued trust and support, school board officials say.

“I am deeply honoured to continue serving as Chair of this remarkable Board,” stated Van Heck, in a press release.

“Together, we uphold the values of Catholic education, fostering environments where students grow academically, spiritually, and personally. I look forward to building on the incredible work we’ve accomplished and leading with faith and dedication.”

“It’s a privilege to work alongside such a dedicated team of trustees and staff,” added Argenti.

“I am excited to continue contributing to our mission of supporting excellence in Catholic education and ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed and thrive.”

Elections for Chair and Vice Chair positions occur annually, with the term for both roles concluding in December 2025.
