Thrown coffee pot at a business in Chatham leads to mischief charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Wednesday at approximately 9:44 p.m., police were called to a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham regarding a female party inside that was causing a disturbance.

Police learned that the female was told by business employees to leave the premises and that the female responded by throwing a pot of coffee.

Police arrived and placed the female under arrest.

The 34-year-old Chatham woman was charged for mischief and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
