Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 14, 2024 at approximately 2:30 a.m. a 21-year-old man was observed operating a motor vehicle in Chatham with two flat tires and extensive body damage.
The driver was stopped and found to be intoxicated by alcohol.
The man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and provided breath samples in excess of double the legal limit of 80mg/100ml.
The man was also found to have a suspended drivers license as a result of a Stunt Driving conviction.
The man’s vehicle was impounded for 45-days under the VIP program, and they were released with a future court date.
