Trespass to Property Act charge laid in Raleigh Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 33-year-old person of no fixed address has been charged under the Trespass to Property Act after police were called to a property on AD Shadd Road in Raleigh Township.

Chatham-Kent police were called to the location on June 25, 2026, at about 6:38 p.m. for a report of a person trespassing.

Officers attended and located the suspect still on the property. Police say the individual was not authorized to be there by the property owner.

As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old of no fixed address was arrested and charged with trespassing. The accused was later released on a summons and is scheduled to appear in court on July 29, 2026.
