Outstanding warrant executed in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On December 27, 2024, shortly before 1 p.m., officers on general uniform patrol located a male party walking on Romneath Road in Chatham.

Officers were made aware that the male party had a warrant for his arrest with the Ontario Provincial Police.

Officers stopped the male party who ran from officers after learning he was the subject of a warrant.

The officers were able to catch the male, arrest him for the outstanding warrants and turn custody of the male party to the Ontario Provincial Police.

A 21-year-old Chatham man was arrested and turned over to the Ontario Provincial Police.
