Alleged surreptitious photos at the Lambton Mall leads to voyeurism charges for a Sarnia man

Sarnia Police Service officials allege: In response to the Windsor Police Service investigation, the Sarnia Police Service launched a parallel investigation into similar offences which occurred in the City of Sarnia.

As a result of this investigation, the Sarnia Police Service determined that a 46-yar-old man had attended the Lambton Mall on December 28th, 2024.

While at the Lambton Mall, Russell Luyt was taking photographs surreptitiously of females in a manner which constitutes a criminal offence.

The Sarnia man is charged with two counts of Voyeurism.

He was held for bail but has since been released by a Justice of the Peace and will appear next at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on January 21, 2025.

The Sarnia Police Service is attempting to identify the victims of this act.
